The Andes is the longest mountain range in the world with over 7000km of continuous waves of peaks, from the shores of the Caribbean in the north to Cape Horn in Chile in the south. Aconcagua is not only the highest mountain in South America but it is also the highest mountain in the southern hemisphere. It known as the "Stone Sentinel" of South America - the second highest of the world's Seven Summits.
